I'm Scottish-American
Published on August 22, 2004 By Red Rhino In Blogging
I was born in America. My parents were born in America and my Grandparents were born in America. My great grandparents on my mothers side were scottish. But people label me as white. Because thats my skin color. I find it insulting. People classify me as white, and make assumptions about my personality and morales based from it. From now on I would rather be referred to as Scottish-American to reflect my proud history and background. I am not white, I'm scottish-american.

I wonder if I'm a minority now? Whites, African-Americans, Latino/Hispanics/Mexican-Americans, and now Scottish-Americans. I must represent my home land.
